Description Robert Yang 2015-01-16 02:20:07 UTC
We got such warnings when do_rootfs, we can't know which pkg has this problem,
it would make the debug easier if print:

pkgname: warning: user postgres does not exist - using root.

The last email I've seen about his is from 2021:
https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/156296

I guess that people have just gotten used to the error and most packages have fixed their recipe. Keep the enhancement open until ~2024 and close it if we are still short of people.

It would be good clean-up to look for an fix this.

Not a newcomer issue.
Does this still happen @Robert?
Comment 4 Randy MacLeod 2025-05-01 14:07:04 UTC
Bulk move of all unassigned 5.2 medium importance bugs to 5.3.

Robert,
Is this still a problem with rpm6 ?
