Created attachment 2321 [details] sdk.py: Add SDKIMAGE_INSTALL_COMPLEMENTARY capabilities to DpkgSdk I'm building my own image and I'm using deb packaging system. Building for the image is working fine. When I want to create the SDK by means of do_populate_sdk, complementary packages (SDKIMAGE_FEATURES = "dev-pkgs dbg-pkgs") are not installed if I'm using deb packaging system (it works with ipk for instance). After digging into related files which do create the sdk, I found out that IpkSdk and RpmSdk call install install_complementary() function while DpkgSdk doesn't do that. I tried adding that call in DpkgSdk and recreating the SDK and I can see in the logs that now it is trying to install *-dev *-dbg packages from packages in the image. I attach the patch I used to fix it.
