Thanks to Ross there is at least a mention of the syntax now in the --help output in master: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=18d71ed16ed3fd0ef0036280612503e33f840587 Moving to 2.1 - really the remaining bit is to update the bitbake manual. So we need to work this into the BitBake manual - the --help text quoted by the manual does include it but we ought to explicitly mention it. Probably we ought to have a small section after "Executing Tasks Against a Set of Recipe Files", perhaps "Executing a List of Task/Recipe Combinations" or something similar (a better title would be welcome). Hi, See the new section at http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.2/bitbake-user-manual/bitbake-user-manual.html#executing-a-list-of-task-and-recipe-combinations and please give me feedback. The example I used is contrived. If there is a better, more realistic way to do this let me know. Thanks, Scott Still needs reviewed. Setting target to M4. $ bitbake myfirstrecipe recipe:do_taskA mysecondrecipe recipe:do_taskB needs to be: $ bitbake myfirstrecipe:do_taskA mysecondrecipe:do_taskB Thank Richard for the look... See http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.2/bitbake-user-manual/bitbake-user-manual.html#executing-a-list-of-task-and-recipe-combinations for the change. I am going to close this bug now. Scott |
