Expected outcome: Image should boot and be able to login with root user and no password.

Actual outcome: After booting the image and entering the root as user, the system asks for a password.

A message appears during boot that I don't know if it has anything to do with the problem but I am putting it here just to be sure:
"Starting system message bus: Unknonwn username "xuser" in message bus configuration file"

This is a duplicate of bug 8033.

The xuser issue is also covered separately under bug 8005.
