Description Cathy Shen 2015-10-11 13:49:23 UTC
The usage is we'd like to generate self-contained test tar ball(s) which can be easily released to customers, and run by anyone anywhere, not need to set up Yocto build environment in Linux machine.

*To run export test properly, test runner and controller should be included in test tar ball together with test cases.
*To get less dependencies, exported tar ball(s) should not include or depend on any build data or build tools.
*To get small package size, we want generate arch relative and non-arch test tar balls.

Self-contained means all the test needed tools (runner, controller), test binaries, test scripts are all in these tar balls. No need to install other tools, e.g. bitbake.

Hi Cathy,

Working on it. I have a POC, but still needs polishing.
