Log of preparing build system from ext SDK

When installing the extensible SDK on another machine, I've noticed odd errors from git in preparing_build_system.log - see attached (ignore the error at the end).

This doesn't appear to cause any problems, but I'm concerned we're running git somewhere we shouldn't be (or perhaps not hiding error output when we should be.) This seems to happen during parsing so perhaps it's due to the recent changes in how we get the git metadata revisions i.e. http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=3aac11076e22ac4fea48f5404110bb959547a9fe

FWIW this affects the build system in general if a layer isn't in a git repository.

There is no errors from git in preparing_build_system.log
