Created attachment 2859 [details] patch to prevent false positive QA warnings when installing libraries into libexec. Installing libraries into can issue multiple warnings such as: WARNING: QA Issue: gcc-cross-canadian-i586: found library in wrong location: /opt/poky/2.0/sysroots/i686-pokysdk-linux/usr/libexec/i586-poky-elf/gcc/i586-poky-elf/4.9.3/liblto_plugin.so [libdir] These are false positive warning, which can be disabled via INSANE_SKIP_${PN} = "libdir" However, this would disable also any legitimate warnings. Instead, insane.bbclass should be updated to detect such situation and omit the QA warning. I attached a simple patch that fixes this, but it may not be the best solution.
