Description Belen Barros Pena 2016-01-19 16:51:00 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Using a clean database, create a Toaster project using the local release. Navigate to the compatible software recipes page and make sure it's empty.

2. Create a second Toaster project using the local release. Navigate to the compatible software recipes page and make sure it's empty.

3. Go back to the project you created in step 1 and import a layer, for example, meta-intel, by entering the following details in the import layer page:

layer name: meta-intel-imported
Git URL: git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-intel
revision: master

The list of compatible layers in this project will now include a meta-intel-imported layer

4. Build a recipe from the meta-intel layer, for example: intel-gpu-tools. Once the build completes, the list of compatible software recipes will now include the intel-gpu-tools recipe

5. Go to the project you created in step 2 and check the list of compatible layers and the list of compatible software recipes.

They are no longer empty: they have the same information as in the project you created in step 1. Compatible meta-data is supposed to be per project: it should not be shared across projects in this way, since we have no way to know whether the compatible meta-data in one project is indeed compatible with a second project.

When returning the compatible layers make sure that we are only
listing: All the layers which are for this release && configuration
layers (i.e. aren't part of the build history) and which aren't an
imported layer OR are this project's imported layer(s).
