In order to reduce the size of the generated SDK, I'm trying to disable the inclusion of the *-dbg packages into the build. I set the switch, in my local.conf, to: SDKIMAGE_FEATURES = "dev-pkgs" This eliminated most of the debug binaries and sources, except for the core glibc/libgcc pieces. Those pieces are being added by: TOOLCHAIN_TARGET_TASK ?= " \ ${@multilib_pkg_extend(d, 'packagegroup-core-standalone-sdk-target')} \ ${@multilib_pkg_extend(d, 'packagegroup-core-standalone-sdk-target-dbg')} \ " It would be nice if the second entry was conditional on dbg-pkgs being in the SDKIMAGE_FEATURES.
