Description Anuj Mittal 2016-03-02 05:48:32 UTC
Error log when compiling:

ERROR: ExpansionError during parsing /home/ilab/test-build/yocto_build/meta-openembedded/meta-oe/recipes-core/meta/distro-feed-configs.bb: Failure expanding variable CONFFILES_lib32-distro-feed

Added following to local.conf:

require conf/multilib.conf
DEFAULTTUNE = "corei7-64"
MULTILIBS = "multilib:lib32"
DEFAULTTUNE_virtclass-multilib-lib32 = "corei7-32"

The problem is because there is no "core2" tune.

Comment 1 Anuj Mittal 2016-03-02 09:03:11 UTC
Forgot to mention explicitly that this happens on Jethro only when meta-openembedded/meta-oe is included while expanding:

CONFFILES_${PN} += '${@ " ".join( [ ( "${sysconfdir}/opkg/%s-feed.conf" % feed ) for feed in "all ${PACKAGE_EXTRA_ARCHS} ${MACHINE_ARCH}".split() ] ) }'

in distro-feed-configs.bb

I tried it on master and it doesn't give an error anymore but it still doesn't seem correct and should be fixed.

I took the ownership of this issue. Our team will be responsible to make sure the changes go upstream.
We will notify Poky owner to merge once the patch is available in OE-Core.

Patch has been merged into OE-Core master branch.

Please share the procedure to get it backport to Jethro. The patch was sent with [master][jethro] tag at the Subject. However it is not merge into jethro.
