Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a Toaster project
2. Create a custom image based on core-image-minimal
3. Build your custom image
4. Create a custom image based on the custom image you created in step 2
5. Build your second custom image

The build fails with the following error:

[Errno 2] No such file or directory: u'/home/belen/toaster/_meta-toaster-custom//home/belen/toaster/_meta-toaster-custom/recipes/minimal-belen.bb'

Note that the _meta-toaster-custom directory, because of its location in the file system, will be shared across projects. This should not happen: once the changes required to fix bug 7880 go in, we should probably move _meta-toaster-custom to the build directory, so that it is not shared across projects.

Try a secondary file path if the first does not exist. When we get the
recipe paths and layer information from the layer index it is not a
complete path but we are usually able to reconstruct it. If the complete
real path has been discovered by building then use this instead.
