ENVIRONMENT: core2-32 on Minnowboard Max meta-intel
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 
  
 Parse dmesg log and all log files in /var/log for keywords like: "error" , "failed" , "cannot", "can't" etc.
Filter out the known and invalid errors or errors that appear in certain situations and need to be ignored.



EXPECTED OUTCOME: 
  
 No errors or fails should be present in logs


ACTUAL OUTCOME:
The following error messages were displayed: 

Central error: [    0.773455] [drm] failed to retrieve link info, disabling eDP


Central error: [    0.439171] pci 0000:00:1c.0: BAR 14: failed to assign [mem size 0x00200000]

Central error: [    1.884046] sdhci-acpi 80860F16:00: failed to setup card detect gpio

On a quick look, this seems to be a duplicate of bug 7897. Please investigate and if so, mark this as duplicate and reopen bug 7897.

It is not a duplicate, a lot of differences from logs.

Can you confirm the issues you are concerned about are these lines:


Central error: [    0.773455] [drm] failed to retrieve link info, disabling eDP
Central error: Feb 23 18:52:17 intel-core2-32 kernel: sdhci-acpi 80860F16:00: failed to setup card detect gpio

and not the BAR related lines?

I just want to understand if it is the same situation as BAR issues, if it is I think we can proceed to place this as duplicated.

I think we have this error messages accounted for already.
