Dexuan,

I tried to compile libnewt on qemuarm and libnewt was fine. Would you please send me the log file
/srv/home/pokybuild/poky-slave/nightly-external-lsb/build/build/tmp/work/armv5te-poky-linux-gnueabi/libnewt-0.52.12-r0/temp/log.do_compile.24629

I also meet slang build failed, and do you have the same build failure?

sorry, looks the file doesn't exist now, and in the latest arm build, libnewt can build.

In my original report, qemux86 also has the same issue, but looks the latest log doesn't show the failure:
http://autobuilder.yoctoproject.org:8010/builders/nightly-internal-lsb/builds/12/steps/shell_5/logs/stdio -- in it we can see libnewt can build fine.

Maybe this is parallel make issue?

Hi Kai, sorry, usually I don't try the patch myself as actually I don't have the environment, and usually I look at the autobuild nightly logs to verify bugs. :-)

Your patch looks fine. I think you can send it directly to the mailing list.

Hi Dexuan, I did not see the libnewt build failed, so I am not sure.

Can someone please verify that this is indeed an issue, I have not seen slang or libnewt failure recently.

`bitbake slang ` in a clean yocto repo will reproduce the slang build failure.

I saw libnewt still failed on today's latest poky master:

Today's lsb builds are still blocked, so I had a look and made a patch:
