Description Paul Eggleton 2016-04-19 22:32:44 UTC
Since http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=9c0186fd57fe6b8ed7b4de7645fdadfc2e5db149 , update-rc.d, base-passwd, shadow and update-alternatives won't be uninstalled from images not containing a package manager. That was a deliberate change, but there will be systems which genuinely do not need these packages and yet will now get them. It seems to me there ought to be a switch to remove them for those that don't need them.

I missed run-postinsts from the above package list.
