Can you provide the dmesg output and what hardware is on the RVP? I do not have the actual RVP hardware to investigate this directly. Assign to Steve to comment on Created attachment 3140 [details]
information about dmesg
Dmesg output information is in attachments and file name is dmesg.txt. The image we used is ostro-image-swupd-dev-intel-corei7-64-2016-04-13_14-19-24-build-423.dsk.xz. The hardware is BXT RVP. Bluetooth is not expected to work on the BXT RVP, since the wireless module is connected via serial and the SW stack is expecting a USB connection. The BT tests should not be run on the RVP, please use a Ksanka board when it becomes available. Hi Steve, Do you mean the Bluetooth HW is built in the RVP, but through serial which is not compatible with the SW stack? I don't have the hardware layout of the RVP, and can't figure out which chip is the Bluetooth module on it. Do you know that? BTW, WiFi works well, I suspect WiFi and Bluetooth are two separate modules for BXT RVP, correct? Thanks, Cathy Cathy, yes the RVP has BT hardware, but it is not compatible with the SW stack, so you will not be able to test it. Both BT and Wifi are in the same module, but the interfaces used to talk to them are separate. Wifi is on PCIe, BT is connected via serial port on the RVP, but via USB on the actual Grosse Tete product. You will have to wait until you get a Grosse Tete board to test BT Noted and thanks, Steve! Close this ticket then. |
