Saul: This is failing also in Minnow Board Max, do you want the same issue linked here? or maybe I can raise a new one for Minnow Board Max

Can you please share what media file you used and the if it was an audio only or audio and video file?

I was able to play an OGV on a minnow board and NUC, but I am not sure if my monitor will play hdmi sound.

I tested this with both Jethro and Fido, and both versions fail, Krogoth does work correctly, this could be related to correctly routing audio to the HDMI?
Comment 9 Saul Wold 2016-05-27 16:13:42 UTC
Update, I rechecked with Jethro after Ross suggested it should be fixed and it does indeed work with the minnow, but I was still seeing some issues with NUC54250WYK system.

I tested this for 2.0.2 on NUC6i5SYH and observed the same issues as per previous comment from Saul. Minnow is working correctly.

The NUC has some strange audio routing issues, this is fixed in newer releases
