logfile from xserver
forgot to mention when i just start xfce with startxfce4 manually xserver and xfce are working without problems, so the problem occurs only with lxdm Well the log says "Message: spawn lxdm-session fail" which looks like lxdm is broken. lxdm isn't part of oe-core so this isn't a suitable place to report the bug, you should contact the meta-oe maintainers unless you can clearly demonstrate that it's a bug in oe-core and not lxdm that needs updating for changes in oe-core. |
Created attachment 3205 [details] logfile from lxdm in yocto 2.0 we used lxdm as display manager, now i tried a testbuild using yocto 2.1 and in this image lxdm is just displaying a black screen (i tired it with or without autologin configured, but this made no difference). lxdm and X seem to be running, just not displaying anything root@xxxxx~# systemctl status lxdm ● lxdm.service - LXDE Display Manager Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/lxdm.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: active (running) since Thu 2016-06-02 09:10:13 CEST; 4min 3s ago Main PID: 532 (lxdm-binary) CGroup: /system.slice/lxdm.service ├─532 /usr/sbin/lxdm-binary └─571 /usr/bin/X -s 0 :0 vt07 -nolisten tcp -novtswitch -auth /var/run/lxdm/lxdm-:0.auth Jun 02 09:10:13 ZenoCam-001ec0d7fdbe systemd[1]: Started LXDE Display Manager.
