Description Alejandro Hernandez 2016-06-07 22:29:20 UTC
When building python-numpy we come across the following warning message:

WARNING: python-numpy-1.11.0-r0 do_package_qa: QA Issue: /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/numpy-1.11.0-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg/EGG-INFO/scripts/f2py contained in package python-numpy requires /home/aehernan/yocto/poky/builds/qemux86/tmp/sysroots/x86_64-linux/usr/bin/python-native/python, but no providers found in RDEPENDS_python-numpy? [file-rdeps]

One of the scripts built by numpy (f2py) is meant to be executed by python, so traditionally this would mean that it needs to be executed with the python interpreter it was built, but in our case since we are cross compiling, it uses python-native which comes from our HOST, causing incorrect behavior, since the shebang should be the TARGET's python instead.

This happens also for python3-numpy
