With these images, including qemuarm qemumips and qemuppc, zypper can not install packages which from 'all' directory in repository. 

For example, I want to install 'hal-info' which from 'all' directory on qemuppc.

'hal-info' can be shown when I search it. But I can not install it.

However, I can install any packages which from 'qemuppc' and 'ppc603e' directories in repository.

This issue does *not* happen on 1.0 release images.

see bug 970 as well

all being not recognized or installable is because that sat-solver is using noarch instead of all, this issue was introduced by zypper arm fix. An option called POKY_SEMANTICS was added to use debian like package naming but the config flags was not updated accordingly.

A patch to fix this is prepared and pending.
