'8.1.14. do_package' could be extended as follows to make it clearer what variables the (default) implementation makes use of: 8.1.14. do_package Analyzes the content of the holding area ${D} and splits it into subsets based on available packages and files. This task makes use of e.g. the PACKAGES and FILES variables.
