The first sentence of '8.1.24 do_populate_sysroot' could be changed from Copies a subset of the files installed by the do_install task into the sysroot to make them available to other recipes. to Copies a subset of the files installed by the do_install task into the sysroot directory ${STAGING_DIR_HOST} to make them available to other recipes. to make it explicit where the sysroot is. (staging.bbclass has do_populate_sysroot[sstate-outputdirs] = "${STAGING_DIR_HOST}/")
