Description Henry Bruce 2016-10-28 00:13:18 UTC
As npm can be slow, it can take several minutes to fetch a project. Log messages so developer can monitor progress and get a hint for where to look if an error causes task to finish prematurely.

So I have made devtool add show the output of recipetool create in real-time (which inadvertently caused bug 10649, but there's a patch on the list for that) so there's some improvement in this area, but to present the kind of fetch progress information that you get out of a normal bitbake build we really need to have tinfoil2 in place, thus I am making this bug depend on bug 5470.

This is fixed in master.

A progress bar is displayed during the do_configure task which is the most time-consuming task.
