After creating an updateable core-image-base minimal Extensible SDK for a qemux86 target, "devtool sdk-update" fails as follows:

$ source environment-setup-i586-poky-linux 
SDK environment now set up; additionally you may now run devtool to
perform development tasks.
Run devtool --help for further details.
$ devtool sdk-update
ERROR: Failed to update metadata as there have been changes made to it.
Aborting.
ERROR: Changed files: 
b' M poky/bitbake/lib/bb/pysh/pyshtables.py\n'

As a temporary workaround, eSDK user should create a global .gitignore and add 
pyshtables.py to it.
