This should not really be fixed in RMC. RMC uses whatever processor type is reported by smbios to generate a board fingerprint. Qemu modifies the processor type field in each of its releases. Therefore to support multiple qemu releases with the same rmc.db record, we should use a common machine type by passing "-machine" parameter when qemu is started. https://lists.yoctoproject.org/pipermail/meta-intel/2017-March/004702.html |
