QEMU inserts its default machine type into the processor information field (SMBIOS type 2 structure) which results in different fingerprints. This needs some investigation, we should not have to maintain separate RMC database records for each version of QEMU.
This should not really be fixed in RMC. RMC uses whatever processor type is reported by smbios to generate a board fingerprint. Qemu modifies the processor type field in each of its releases. Therefore to support multiple qemu releases with the same rmc.db record, we should use a common machine type by passing "-machine" parameter when qemu is started. https://lists.yoctoproject.org/pipermail/meta-intel/2017-March/004702.html
