Steps to recreate
-----------------
Build mimimal eSDK for refkit-image-common (using workaround in bug 11270) 
Then is a new shell 
$ refkit-x86_64-corei7-64-toolchain-ext-refkit.0.sh -d /path/to/esdk
$ cd /path/to/esdk
$ source environment-setup-corei7-64-refkit-linux
$ devtool modify mraa

The problem seems to come from:

$ bitbake-diffsigs -t mraa fetch
basehash changed from 6b6b4ef1fd4a195478020d63beae33ef to 46ef46a80edc9379bd5b946b32826e04
Variable SRC_URI value changed from 'git://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/mraa.git;protocol=http;tag=v${PV}' to 'git://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/mraa.git;protocol=http;tag=v${PV}            file://0001-mraa.c-Fix-strsep-crash.patch'
Dependency on checksum of file 0001-mraa.c-Fix-strsep-crash.patch was added
