Step 9 (creating a layer) has a a similar link (same domain) Leonardo - do you know the link I should use to update? I'm working with Scott Rifenbark. Looked this over, and I'm writing notes to myself here to resolve this bug: Step5: replace with http://git.openembedded.org/bitbake/tree/conf/bitbake.conf Step9: replace with Layers section http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.3/bitbake-user-manual/bitbake-user-manual.html#layers and re-word from "...information on adding a layer" to "...information on layers." Leonardo - see http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.4/bitbake-user-manual/bitbake-user-manual.html#the-hello-world-example for the changes. Let me know if there are any additional updates, or if this is okay. Hi Kristi, ACK, also this patch should be backported at least to 2.3. Leonardo - thanks, I applied the change to the 2.3.1 bitbake manual. See steps 5 and 9 of http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.3.1/bitbake-user-manual/bitbake-user-manual.html#the-hello-world-example Once I hear from Richard that he's merged it into bitbake, I will mark this as RESOLVED.
