Description brian avery 2017-06-22 18:36:24 UTC
the way oe-setup-rpmrepo searches for createrepo_c does not work with RSS. It should probably just use/leverage oe-run-native.

Docs: we need to document how to use the repo from the target side as well.

Moving to Stephano.

See:
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/TipsAndTricks/OnTargetWorkFlowLeveragingRPMPackagefeeds

for some wiki docs on rpm feeds.

As stated in:
https://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit/?id=94fea92f5e7f7c0765e89743a1586b22186a16cd

scripts/oe-setup-rpmrepo: remove the script
After we switched to RSS, this script was not working for a long time.
'bitbake package-index' can do the same thing and works well. So remove
this script.
