The MPC8315e handles this as follows: meta-yocto/conf/machine/mpc8315e-rdb.conf:TARGET_FPU = "spe" perhaps the right fix is to add "TARGET_FPU='hard'" to beagleboard.conf ? I have second patch series that specifies using hard fp in the beagleboard conf after some updates to cortexa8 tune. It boots on bbxm, prints garbage on C4. It is ignoring the boot.scr. Debugging that before submitting. Final patch adds a commented out DEFAULT_TUNE and some comments describing how to enable hard fp - but leaves it disabled by default. . |
