Description
Joshua Lock - Disabled

The knotty (command-line) interface exits with an error in this situation. The GUI should report an error and if possible aid the user in diagnosing and fixing it. The solution I've come up with is to show the user a dialog telling them there's been an unrecoverable error and then showing the (often terse) error message from the underlying system. The dialog has an "Exit" button for the user to acknowledge the message and quit the program. Fix is merged and I've benefited from the change already. |
