Hi Richard I intrested to work on the issue. I have built the core-image-x11 image and able to reproduce the blankscreen issue as well. I made the below modification in xorg.conf. Below is diff output.

With this i dont see the screen blank after 10 mins.
Note : I have verified for qemux86 target.
