Description Robert Berger 2024-07-08 21:07:23 UTC
I am on master:
5d88faa0f35f0205c1475893d8589d1e6533dcc0

In an (extensible) SDK container I do:

devtool add nettoe https://github.com/RobertBerger/nettoe.git

and get a new warning:

...
WARNING: tmp-recipetool-im9b35g8: the directory /opt/ext-sdk/resy/5.0.66/multi-v7-ml/imx6q-phytec-mira-rdk-nand/tmp/work/recipetool-bkpninkb/emptysrc (/opt/ext-sdk/resy/5.0.66/multi-v7-ml/imx6q-phytec-mira-rdk-nand/tmp/work/recipetool-bkpninkb/emptysrc) pointed to by the S variable doesn't exist - please set S within the recipe to point to where the source has been unpacked to

Please note that the recipe seems to be created as usual.

Comment 2 Robert Berger 2024-07-08 21:09:40 UTC
It builds as expected.
Comment 3 Randy MacLeod 2024-07-11 14:36:20 UTC
Likley a result of the UNPACK_DIR / WORKDIR changes.
Comment 4 Robert Berger 2024-08-20 09:27:29 UTC
What's interesting is, that the selftests did not catch it.

I don't know how to write proper oe-selftests and apparently I am not the only one, but would be willing to help if someone who knows how to write those tests is willing to help as well.
Comment 5 Randy MacLeod 2025-05-01 14:07:09 UTC
Bulk move of all unassigned 5.2 medium importance bugs to 5.3.
