It builds as expected.
Likley a result of the UNPACK_DIR / WORKDIR changes.
What's interesting is, that the selftests did not catch it. I don't know how to write proper oe-selftests and apparently I am not the only one, but would be willing to help if someone who knows how to write those tests is willing to help as well.
Bulk move of all unassigned 5.2 medium importance bugs to 5.3.
