Public documentation should be added https://git.yoctoproject.org/yocto-docs/ Hello Ben, There is already some documentation available at https://docs.yoctoproject.org/dev-manual/layers.html#making-sure-your-layer-is-compatible-with-yocto-project. Should there be anything more to it? Perhaps a dedicated webpage about it instead of a section on the "Understanding and Creating Layers" page? Upon review, I don’t think this is the right place to add additional information. If contributors who submit layers experience confusion, we may need to consider updating the website. However, for now, I believe we’re OK. |
