Hi, I would like to work on this bug Confirmed it. The i2c-tools upstream README explicitly states that libi2c is licensed under LGPL-2.1-or-later. The COPYING.LGPL file is present in the i2c-tools-4.4 tarball (md5: 4fbd65380cdd255951079008b364516c). Other build systems including buildroot, openWrt, and fedora already correctly reflect this dual license. The current oe-core recipe only references GPL-2.0-or-later and does not include COPYING.LGPL in LIC_FILES_CHKSUM. Thanks Sia. Fix on master , backport as needed. Hi randy, I have sent patch to the openembedded-core mailing list Hi randy, I have sent patch to the openembedded-core mailing list Apologies for the duplicate comment, there was a sending issue. This looks good. |
