when i run "glxgears", i got:

you maybe forgot to launch QEMU with -enable-gl argument.
Trying TCP/IP communication instead
impossible to connect to server: Connection refused

copy this bug from 1927,as it becomes another GL bug on ubuntu 11 after attach some related log and fix.

Hongna is the true reporter.

This bug only occur when 64b target running on 32b host. The root cause is that target pass 64b data to host, but host treat them as 32b data, so wrong data happen.

We need make the type of data buffer in qemu host same as target. Patch will be out soon.

I got:"Error:couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual" when run glxgears in qemux86-64 on host fedora16 x86, so sorry to reopen it. related with bug 2309.

The RGB error is a dupe of bug 2309 which has now been fixed in oe-core and poky master as of:
