I've consulted with Ross Burton on this and he has pointed out that this is due to GL passthrough being broken in QEMU. It's the reason that GL-passthrough has been disabled in danny and later releases. This is a no-win situation - it is possible to remove qemugl support and fall back to software rendering, but the Mesa software renderer in denzil doesn't support enough GL for clutter to work, either. Addressing this issue is outside the scope of what we can accomplish in a stable point-release that is this old. Someone from the community will have to take up this issue if it is deemed critical. As such I am marking this as WONTFIX. Thanks Scott for the clarification. I've set it to Verified, Wontfix |
