Implementation merged to master: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=960e305d9abbbeed0ed2d5251ff94cf1719e5159 Hi, The documentation fix for this bug involved updating the "Image Generation section found at http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/1.6/ref-manual/ref-manual.html#image-generation-dev-environment. Fixes included adding to the figure a new "Manifest" box fed by the IMAGE_MANIFEST variable and adding supporting text further down in the section. Part of the fix also included creating a new glossary entry for the IMAGE_MANIFEST variable, which can be viewed at http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/1.6/ref-manual/ref-manual.html#var-IMAGE_MANIFEST. Write out the installed package list (a complete one, including complementary packages) to the deploy directory next to the image - perhaps ${IMAGE_NAME}.manifest or similar. This can then be used by both Toaster and the automated runtime testing code.
