Could reproduce in 13.10 too. I can't reproduce the issue. So here's what's the expected usage scenario: 1. Import an existing poky meta data into bitbake commander project you need to uncheck the "Clone from Yocto Project Git..." For Location specify the directory which contains the poky meta data directory, e.g. I have /home/jzhang/poky, so location is /home/jzhang. And Project specify the directory of poky meta data, i.e. poky, then click finish 2. You want to create a project and want to clone the poky meta data during project cretion: You need to check the "Clone from Yocto Project Git..." For location specify the directory where you want the poky meta data to be cloned into, e.g. /home/jzhang for project specify a name that is not conflict with any existing file or directory name, e.g. poky-test I've tested with both scenarios and they still worked as expected. Jessica, I have managed to reproduce it too (see my previous comment). Please make sure you tried the same steps we did. Thanks! P.S. I tried with the latest master on a Ubuntu 13.10 64bit. Hi Jessica, Did you try with a new headless build on the latest master? Thanks, Alex. reproduced with current weekly too on my Ubuntu 13.10 eclipse-poky-kepler 84c1361ee96b781666a23f068244d4f1252be712 Can you reproduce it on Ubuntu 12.10? Hi Alex, Please check the last msg Confirm for 12.10 too. Happens with dora too: eclipse-poky-kepler ad74249895f882a8f00bdeef7a0f7c18998cc43e I still have a hard time reproduce the issue that reported here. Why step 3 if you chose to create a bitbake commander project with clone itself? Anyway, I've fixed a bug while debugging the issue and the fix is posted on kepler master, please check with it to see whether make your issue go away http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/eclipse-poky-kepler/commit/?id=458205659c1949eba8e8084cbfc28efd70aa0f29 (In reply to comment #11) > I still have a hard time reproduce the issue that reported here. Please refer to my e-mail for more details. We tried using a new clone when reproducing the issue. Thanks! is this still an issue since 5757 you're able to creat new project (In reply to comment #13) > is this still an issue since 5757 you're able to creat new project Hey, I will verify with the new commit and mark as apropriately. Thanks, Alex. I've tested it on the last commit on kepler (1dfe1d2f1322b5fda8e1a7637c447b0e060efb3e) and it works. I created 3 consecutive bitbake commander project and everything and I did not receive this error. I created 3 > consecutive bitbake commander project and everything and I did not receive > this error. This comment is invalid because Cristiana tested on Master. The issue reproduces on 1.5.3 (dora). Yes, indeed on master works but the bug version is 1.5.2 (dora).
