I think this is reaching a conclusion before we've done analysis. I agree that it would be interesting to try building OE-Core with llvm. We may also need this for some of the mesa/GL compiling for qemu. So this enhancement is about experimenting with llvm usage and if it makes sense putting a case forward for inclusion in OE-Core. Let's see if we can get this into 1.8. |
