Moving this to 1.9, since it is relevant for the image recipe customisation feature. This has no assignee, but the image customisation feature, as designed, relies on having a layers parse that can be cancelled by users, which seems connected to this feature. Adding a 'Cancelling' state for builds, as suggested by David Reyna, since builds can take some time to stop
The patches are under review. This strikes me a key feature rather than an enhancement. I frequently interrupt builds when I realize that I have made a configuration error.
