Currently, Toaster users can only cancel builds before the build actually starts. Once the build starts in the build servers, users can no longer cancel the build: they must wait until the build process finishes. Users should be able to cancel builds at any time.
Moving this to 1.9, since it is relevant for the image recipe customisation feature.
This has no assignee, but the image customisation feature, as designed, relies on having a layers parse that can be cancelled by users, which seems connected to this feature.

The attachment looks fine in the first glance.
Created attachment 2706 [details] Design - Cancelling builds Adding a 'Cancelling' state for builds, as suggested by David Reyna, since builds can take some time to stop
The patches are under review.
This strikes me a key feature rather than an enhancement. I frequently interrupt builds when I realize that I have made a configuration error. I'd vote for increasing priority.
