We moved our builders from Xen to Docker containers at Wind River. This lets us specify the distro used to do a build and with a few configuration options to optimize disk I/O we get near native build performance. Konrad (CCed) is the point of contact if you're interested. Testing still needs qemu for non-x86 targets. Added support to use kvm when running qemux86* machines on an x86 host and added a new variable QEMU_USE_KVM to the autobuilder conf/autobuilder.conf file that enables the use of kvm. Patches sent to oe-core and yocto mailing lists. Merged to master by Joshua. |
