Description Aníbal Limón 2016-03-17 23:09:07 UTC
We need to enable kvm on the AB cluster for x86 and x86-64 testimage.

This will help to improve testing times against images, currently the support on runqemu script exists.

We moved our builders from Xen to Docker containers at Wind River. This lets us specify the distro used to do a build and with a few configuration options to optimize disk I/O we get near native build performance. Konrad (CCed) is the point of contact if you're interested. Testing still needs qemu for non-x86 targets.
Comment 2 Bill Randle 2016-08-16 23:14:30 UTC
Added support to use kvm when running qemux86* machines on an x86 host and added a new variable QEMU_USE_KVM to the autobuilder conf/autobuilder.conf file that enables the use of kvm.

Patches sent to oe-core and yocto mailing lists.
