Yes, can you backport just the gdate gcc patch to krogoth and post the patch? (In reply to comment #1) > Yes, can you backport just the gdate gcc patch to krogoth and post the patch? Hi Ross, After backport the patch for pkgconfig-native, I found there are several native packages also build failed with gcc6: elfutils-natvie, rpm-native, binutils-native, glib-native, docbook-utils-native, gcc-cross. That means we need to backport a lot of patches and spend more time to test to make sure they work well on Fedora 24 and other distributions. How do you think about it? Or we just declare krogoth doesn't support Fedora 24 ? Verified the failure. poky-contrib timo/krogoth-9897 All packages mentioned above have been fixed with backports and cherry-picked commits. NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED with world build on Fedora-24. Local world build also turned up nss-native. Additional patch sent to ML. Also available on timo/krogoth-nss-native poky-contrib branch. Changes pulled into akuster/krogoth-next. waiting for window to run AB AB nightly-world-lsb turned up two more failures: grub-eft-native - http://errors.yoctoproject.org/Errors/Details/72815/ qt4-native - http://errors.yoctoproject.org/Errors/Details/72816/ Patches sent to mailing lists. qt4-native is tracked in YOCTO #10039 Closing this bug since the rest of the patches have been merged. |
