Description ulfalizer 2016-07-25 11:26:02 UTC
Hello,

do_install[cleandirs] = "${D}" will remove and recreate ${D} already if it does not exist. Therefore, putting ${D} in do_install[dirs] is redundant.

If ${D} was the last entry in do_install[dirs], then it would become the working directory of do_install. But it is not, so removing it makes no difference.

The most important side-effect of fixing it might be to clarify how [cleandirs] works to people reading base.bbclass.

Cheers,
Ulf
