Git rev: master/36feb38045b7a2af86ece147fec54b0db3bf491f Steps: $ bitbake linux-yocto -c menuconfig Error message: make: *** No rule to make target 'menuconfig'. Stop. Command failed. Press any key to continue...
This isn't kernel specific. bitbake -c menuconfig busybox fails the same way. There's been no touches to the cml1.bbclass since earlier this year, so I'm not sure why it is failing now. Someone with more general knowledge should look into this, as my hands are full with other kernel issues at the moment (and will be on vacation shortly) I'm bouncing this via Ross to see if he has an idea .. to be clear, I'm not assigning it to Ross, I'm just not aware of who's available to look into it.
For what it's worth: works fine with 627d01997fcf6a0581d88047735769ffb2592b82
Seems this one breaks it: 2afcbfef2cd1ca568e5225884a8021df38ee3db0
Patch sent. I'll admit that it is untested as my build machine is offline right now, so testing would be appreciated.
Works for me, with aa6d30dd4229d92cb9a2240a4d43d9abdf83eaae (used to fail before) (manually pasted the two new lines from the patch)
Fixed in oe-core 614d976ee97d6386c37afb54add5b83741ca401e.
