All Krogoth recipes fail to cross-compile for Windows using meta-mingw layer. In particular, the following should/used to work (jethro with meta-mingw layer): SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" TCLIBC="baremetal" bitbake gcc-cross-canadian-i586 or SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" bitbake meta-toolchain or SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" bitbake nativesdk-make
Various patches in: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit.cgi/meta-mingw-contrib/log/?h=juro/krogoth I am able to build: SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" TCLIBC="baremetal" bitbake gcc-cross-canadian-i586 SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" bitbake meta-toolchain SDKMACHINE="i686-mingw32" MACHINE="qemux86" bitbake core-image-minimal -c populate_sdk However, the resulting SDKs still need to be repacked (.xz is not supported by Windows) and also there is a bunch of unneeded compiler variants (musl, UClibc), which are actually all identical.
