As part of the documentation audit, the libx11-diet recipe failed to build for qemux86 on my Fedora 14 host. I will attach the build error log to this bug.

I don't know where the strange error message are from. do_patch needs to "contact configuration server"??? And I can't reproduce this do_patch failure. In my side with poky's master ad2363278f0ea86fcf3 I got a do_compile failure: | ../../../doltlibtool: line 17: /distro/dcui/0704/pc1/build/tmp/work/i586-poky-linux/libx11-diet-1.3-r2/libX11-1.3/modules/im/ximcp/../../../libtool: No such file or directory | make[3]: *** [libximcp.la] Error 127 I'll look into the do_compile failure. Scott, since I can't reproduce the do_patch failure, could you please help to look at the do_patch failrue in your side? :-)
I compiled libx11-diet on Fedora 13, but no failure in the stage of do_patch and got the same failure as Dexuan during do_compile because of not found libtool.
