We need a way to run an RCPTT test on Travis so that the developers do not regress.

It turns out this is easier to do with Maven and that solution is already working on Travis. A similar approach was used to make a container that runs the build and tests with Maven, but it is not necessary to wrap it in a container on Travis.

This is done as a PoC, but final structure and deployment still pending mostly for holidays.

In the immediate future, this will not help with QA but rather complicate the picture. We have a way to run the tests natively. See Bug 9597.
